Gonadal Hormone
BackAMH
AMH is a member of the beta superfamily of transforming growth factor. It is a glycoprotein secreted by pre-sinusfollicles, granulocytes of small sinus follicles and immature testis supporting cells. It can inhibit the recruitment of primitive follicles and participate in the selection of sinus follicles.
AMH can quickly and reliably evaluate ovarian reserve function with the number of sinus eggs may be formed, thus reflecting ovarian function and predicting fertility. It is not affected by many factors, such as female physiological cycle, contraceptive pills, different blood collection time in a day, etc., which is more suitable for clinical needs.
